    Visiting Laurier

    Information about our Campuses

As a visitor to Laurier, it's hard to miss the school spirit and the close-knit community we have built here. Our campuses are situated in thriving and culturally diverse communities.

Prospective students can explore our campuses virtually or book an in-person campus tour.

Building hours and closure notices can be found on our Campus Status page.

    Parking on Campus

Visit our Parking page to find information about visitor parking as well as alternative modes of transportation. If you are the guest of an academic or administrative department, ask your host about the availability of a visitor parking pass.

    Dining on Campus

If you’re looking for a place to eat, there are many choices on Laurier's campuses. Laurier Food Services offers a wide variety of food options.

Our Waterloo campus food options include the Fresh Food Company dining hall, BYTE 75 Coffee & Social (located in Lazaridis Hall), the Terrace Food Court and Wilf’s Restaurant and Bar (both located in the Fred Nichols Centre), and many more. All on-campus food service locations accept Interact, Visa and Mastercard.

Our Brantford campus is conveniently located in the heart of downtown where you can visit unique restaurants and cafés to satisfy your appetite.

    Campus Safety

Our mobile safety application, SAFEHawk, features campus-specific emergency contacts at all Laurier locations, personal support resources, safety tips, new feeds and accessibility information.

SAFEHawk is available as a free download for Apple or Android. Visitors are encouraged to download SAFEHawk and enable notifications to receive time-sensitive alert.

    Explore Our Communities

Step outside of our campuses and discover the vibrant communities where Laurier is located.

In Waterloo, the region offers plenty of hiking trails, golf courses, skating rinks and even a ski hill. About two blocks away from the Waterloo campus, you can explore the beautiful scenery at Waterloo Park. There's also the opportunity to explore both the St. Jacob’s Farmers' Market and the Kitchener Market, featuring many local artisans.

A centre of arts, culture and heritage, there are many activities to keep you busy in Brantford. Learn more about Brantford’s heritage by visiting its many museums and historic sites. Boasting a small-town feel with big-city amenities, visitors to Laurier's Brantford campus will feel right at home.
